Community Therapy Services, a division of The Stepping Stones Group, is looking for a qualified Child Development Specialist in San Fernando Valley, CA.
Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
Position will start part-time with caseloads building to a full-time schedule!
Position Overview:
The Child Development Specialist (CDS) works under the Regional Clinical Manager's supervision to support child development goals and provide parent education across developmental domains.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver one-on-one interventions using the Early Start Denver Model in home and community settings.
- Develop and communicate child development goals and progress with parents.
- Collect data during sessions, review, and adjust goals as needed.
- Participate in interdisciplinary reporting and team meetings, providing feedback on progress and program needs.
- Support skill generalization in natural settings; mentor peers with experience.

- Adhere to schedule, dress, and communication standards.
- Notify parents and the team of any scheduling changes.
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality as outlined in company guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development required
- English fluency
- Knowledge of early intervention principles and time management skills.
- Reliable transportation, background check, and HIPAA compliance required.
Physical & Mental Requirements:
- Ability to perform physical activities like standing, bending, and lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Comfortable working in various home settings with diverse families.
Work Environment:
Requires reliable transportation across specified regions; work performed in both office and home settings with moderate noise levels.
