    Center for Behavioral, Educational, and Social Therapies (CBEST), now proudly part of The Stepping Stones Group, is hiring school-based Behavior Technicians (BTs) to provide one-on-one ABA therapy for kiddos with behavioral needs in the Northridge &, Reseda, CA area. In this role, you'll make a meaningful impact by supporting children in reaching their social, emotional, and behavioral goals in a school setting. What You'll DoProvide 1:1 ABA therapy to students with moderate to severe behaviors (e.g., aggression, elopement) in a school setting Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) developed by Case SupervisorsSupport students in developing functional communication, social skills, academic success, and daily living abilitiesTrack and document progress, behavior data, and session notes accuratelyMaintain consistent attendance and demonstrate professional communication with staff and supervisors QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required; degree in psychology, education, or related field preferredAt least 1 year of experience working with children with diagnosed with Autism or other special needs requiredMust be available to work Monday - Friday, 7:50am - 3:30pm, 30 hours per weekABA training and knowledge of Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) or Safety Care (QBS) strongly preferredStrong communication and teamwork skills are a mustReliable transportation and willing to commute up to 10 miles (30-45 minutes)Physically able to kneel, run short distances, and lift up to 25 lbs.Why You'll Love Working with UsFull time position with competitive hourly pay and benefitsMedical, Dental, and Vision insurance and 401(k) retirement plan offeredHealth & Wellness stipendPaid training and onboardingTuition discounts with UCSB and other universitiesMileage and drive time reimbursement and cancellation pay for last-minute absencesIdeal for Candidates Who Are:Looking to grow in the behavioral health or ABA therapy fieldPassionate about education and working with students with disabilitiesInterested in pursuing a career as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or BCBA About CBESTCBEST, a division of The Stepping Stones Group, has been positively impacting school districts and their students since 2002.
