This role is ideal for a licensed behavioral health professional who is passionate about ensuring high-quality services for children and adolescents while supporting the growth and success of fellow clinicians.The District Clinical Lead serves as a key clinical resource within assigned school districts and contracts, collaborating closely with Mental Health Leadership, district partners, and clinical staff to promote service excellence, compliance, and positive student outcomes.Reports To: Mental Health Market President, Regional Director, and State Clinical DirectorPosition OverviewThe District Clinical Lead will provide clinical oversight, guidance, and supervision to clinicians within an assigned territory or contract. This position plays a critical role in maintaining clinical quality, supporting staff development, ensuring compliance with state and district requirements, and fostering strong relationships with school partners.Essential ResponsibilitiesProvide clinical leadership, mentoring, supervision, and support to clinicians within assigned districts and contracts.Serve as a trusted clinical resource by offering guidance on assessments, interventions, documentation, treatment planning, IEPs, 504 Plans, reports, and related clinical practices.Promote ethical, evidence-based, and high-quality service delivery across all assigned locations.Oversee implementation of established clinical protocols, services, and best practices throughout district contracts.Directly supervise Associate-Level Mental Health Providers in accordance with state licensing requirements.Review, approve, and co-sign assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and other clinical documentation as required.Ensure providers understand and comply with district policies, procedures, and clinical expectations.Complete all required documentation and reporting in accordance with district, company, and state guidelines.Conduct clinical interviews for prospective clinicians as needed.Participate in team meetings, consultation sessions, and leadership meetings.Attend required district, company, and professional development trainings.Additional DutiesFacilitate communication and collaboration between clinicians, district personnel, and Mental Health Leadership.Support onboarding, training, mentoring, and ongoing professional development for clinicians in both virtual and onsite settings.Monitor clinical documentation, service delivery records, and treatment-related materials to ensure quality and compliance standards are met.Assist with contract-related documentation and requests under the guidance of Mental Health Leadership.Travel periodically for district visits, meetings, conferences, or training opportunities.Maintain all required licensure, certifications, and continuing education requirements in accordance with state regulations and professional standards.Support special projects and initiatives that enhance clinical service delivery and operational effectiveness.QualificationsEducation & LicensureMaster's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related Behavioral Health field from an accredited institution.Active, independent licensure in the State of Georgia as one of the following:GA Licensed Master Social Work (LMSW)GA Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)GA Associate Professional Counselor (APC)GA Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)GA Associate Marriage & Family Therapist (AMFT)GA Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT)Experience providing behavioral health, counseling, or social work services to children and adolescents.Previous clinical supervision or leadership experience within a behavioral health setting preferred.Strong knowledge of school-based mental health services, documentation standards, and clinical best practices.Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.Ability to build collaborative relationships with clinicians, school personnel, families, and leadership teams.Physical RequirementsThe physical requirements described below are representative of those needed to successfully perform the essential duties of this position. This is a full-time position supporting a local school district and is ideal for credentialed School Psychologists who are passionate about helping students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.Candidates must be available to work either fully on site OR 4 days on site and one day remote.Unlike traditional district hiring, working with The Stepping Stones Group means you're backed by a team built by School Psychologists, for School Psychologists - with clinical leadership, real support, and a career infrastructure designed around your profession.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSGraduate from an EBD programCurrent license as an Educational Based Diagnostician in TX through TEA1-2 years of diagnostician experience in a school setting is preferredMust be experienced with testing, writing reports, and attending ARDsExperience with XBASS is highly preferredWHAT YOU'LL DOAdminister and interpret standardized assessments evaluating cognitive ability, academic achievement, and social-emotional developmentWrite detailed evaluation reports and present findings at ARD/IEP meetings (attend ARDs, not facilitate)Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and support individualized education plansEnsure all evaluations comply with state and federal special education law (IDEA) and TEA guidelinesWHY YOU'LL LOVE WORKING WITH USAt The Stepping Stones Group, we know that great outcomes start with supported clinicians.
