Qualifications: A minimum of 3 years of experience in the school setting as an ASHA Certified SLPMaintains appropriate state license and ASHA CCC-SLP throughout the entire CF experience Completes at least two hours of professional development in the area of supervision after being awarded the CCC-SLP (SSG can provide if needed) Duties/Job Responsibilities include: Prioritize on-site observation, with virtual methods being used only as a supplement Minimum of 1-2 hours of in-person each month supervision Minimum of 1-2 hours of in-direct clinical support (e.g., documentation review, meetings, sharing resources, etc.) For California - Minimum of 4 hours of in-person each month for full-time Clinical Fellows & 2 hours in-person each month for part-time Clinical Fellows Provide CF with the mentorship needed to become an independent practitioner of SLP services. Improve the clinical effectiveness of the Clinical Fellow through meaningful mentoring and feedback and assist the Clinical Fellow in developing independent clinical skills. Complete all records and feedback/ratings within a timely manner.
