Behavior Technician & Community Outreach Coordinator (Dual Role)

Role Overview:
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team in a dual role as a Behavior Technician (BT) and Community Outreach Coordinator. In this unique position, you will spend half of your time providing clinical support to individuals with autism and the other half engaging with the community to promote autism awareness and our services. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of those with autism while effectively communicating the value of our programs to the wider community.
Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
Job Duties/Essential Responsibilities:
Clinical Responsibilities:
- Engage in direct intervention and implement evidence-based therapy strategies for individuals with autism.
- Subbing on clinical caseloads as needed
Community Outreach Responsibilities:
- Conduct direct community outreach, including calls, one-on-one meetings, and group presentations.
- Identify target referral sources and local organizations to collaborate with.
- Work with the Community Outreach and Marketing teams to promote workshops and events.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with providers, advocates, and community organizations.
- Travel within Pasadena, CA

Travel Requirements:
Candidates must be willing to travel 50% of their time through Pasadena, CA, with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Competencies and Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorder and related services.
- At least 3 years of ABA therapy experience.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
