Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

The Stepping Stones Group is currently hiring Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) for the 2024-2025 school year in the Honolulu, HI metro area! This position allows you to work one on one with a child with behavioral needs in a school setting, utilizing the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to meet specific goals for that child. This is a full time, benefits-eligible position with a schedule of Monday – Friday between the hours of 7:50am – 3:30pm, 30 hours per week.

Qualifications:
- Current license as a Registered Behavior Technician in Hawaii
- Ability to work 30 hours per week, Monday – Friday between the hours of 8:00am – 3:30pm
- Must be receptive and be willing to work with students who exhibit mild to severe behaviors (i.e., aggression, elopement, etc.)
- Experience working with children with behaviors in a school setting preferred
Responsibilities:
- Work one on one with a child with moderate to severe behaviors (i.e. aggression, elopement, etc.) at an assigned school site.
- Work collaboratively with a Case Supervisor to implement positive behavior intervention strategies to improve a child's functional behavior, emotional language and communication, socialization, academic performance, and independent daily living skills
- Duties also include collecting, organizing, and summarizing behavioral data related to the child's behavior goals.
- 1-year commitment to consistent and dependable attendance, as well as responsive and timely communication, is essential to the role.
