What You'll DoÂ
As a Billing Specialist, you'll be part of a collaborative team responsible for billing and accounts receivable across our nationwide behavioral health services. You'll manage daily invoicing, reconcile accounts, and ensure timely collections with professionalism and care.Â
Key ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Serve as a primary contact for customers, therapists, clinical managers, and account executives on billing issues.Â
- Perform daily accounts receivable (A/R) invoicing and post transactions in the billing system.Â
- Research and resolve payment discrepancies; communicate with customers as needed.Â
- Manage customer outreach to collect outstanding balances and reconcile disputes.Â
- Run weekly aging reports and follow up on past-due accounts.Â
- Partner cross-functionally with internal departments to ensure invoices are processed accurately and on time.Â
- Contribute to process improvement projects across the billing function.Â
- Complete other duties as assigned.Â
What You'll BringÂ
- Education & Experience: Associate degree in Accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience.Â
- Experience: 3+ years in Accounting, with emphasis on A/R and Collections preferred.Â
- Technical Skills:Â
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite.Â
- Experience with Waystar required.Â
- Familiarity with Kronos or Great Plains preferred.Â
- Professional Skills:Â
- Strong communication and customer service abilities.Â
- Highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented.Â
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.Â
