Job Summary
As an ABA Instructor (ABAI), you will operate within a school setting for the purpose of modeling and training school staff in evidence-based methodologies that fall under the umbrella of Applied Behavioral Analysis, as well as improving the educational experience for students by assisting Case Managers and teachers by implementing a supportive curriculum using ABA principles.
Pay: $43,000 - $50,000 per year
Location: Malden, MAÂ
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Modeling of ABA methodologies and principles for school personnel across assigned caseload
- Training and reliability on data collection across team members
- Written behavioral and educational programming
- Data collection and graphical display of all target behaviors/skills
- Model and support crisis management intervention if/when needed
- Participate in supervisory and job performance competencies based on these afore mentioned job roles and individualized when needed to build up skill sets for further career development

Minimum Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field to behavior analysis or education including special education, child development and psychology among others
- Minimum three years' experience working with children and/or youths in education or ABA
- Minimum one year experience implementing and training others on the implementation of ABA
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals. Ability to communicate effectively to common inquiries or complaints from clients.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar or line graphs.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- Board Certified Assistant Behavioral Analyst (BCaBA) or Board-Certified Behavior Analyst
- (BCBA) preferred but not required
- Level 4/5 RBT preferred
