Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Community Autism Services, a division of The Stepping Stones Group, is hiring immediately for full time Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) for our brand-new Suwanee, GA center. Come join our team and play a key role in our center-based services! As a part of our team, you'll be providing state-of-the-art behavioral services to children with Autism, actively contributing to our collective mission of Transforming Lives Together.

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour

Job Duties
  • ABA Registered Behavior Technicians report directly to the supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  • In collaboration with a program supervisor, instruct clients on developing communication skills, fostering play, establishing friendships, and enhancing independence, while addressing challenging behaviors.
  • Collect, organize, and summarize behavioral data related to the child's treatment goals.
  • Attend to toileting and/or change soiled diapers/clothing as needed.
  • Maintain a professional and cooperative relationship with the caregiver(s) of referred clients.
  • Ensure the organization and cleanliness of the therapy space at the conclusion of each session.
  • Participate in Clinical Review meetings for individuals on the assigned caseload.
  • 6-month commitment to consistent and dependable attendance, as well as responsive and timely communication, is essential to the role.
  • Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, speak, and listen to children. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee must be able to push items of 50 lbs. Such as pushing children on a bike, pulling a wagon or moving/rearranging furniture. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and peripheral vision.

Requirements
  • Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification/license
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proof of Flu vaccination and annual renewal required
  • Childcare experience required
  • Full time availability between the hours of 8:00AM-4:00PM
