The Stepping Stones Group is seeking highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for a contracted, school-based placement in Philadelphia, PA for the 26/27 school year! This is a full-time position supporting a local K-12 district with private duty/1:1 nursing services for children with signficant medical needs.

- Active LPN License in PA
- Current BLS CPR/AED certification
- Demonstrated competency in the specific skills required for the assigned student including trach/vent, g-tube management, seizure management, and pediatric experience.
- Must have experience with VNS, diabetic management, O2 monitoring, med pass, epi pen, diastat, catherization
- Ability to safely implement physician orders and care plans within LPN scope of practice
- School-based experience highly preferred
What You'll Do
- Maintain continuous observation of assigned student throughout the school day
- Support chronic condition management and assist with medical procedures as outlined in care plans
- PDN's will be responsible for any airway care needed for their client including proper tracheal suctioning and airway management, as needed trach care and trach tie changes, inhaler and nebulizer treatments, emergency care and trach changes
- PDN will be responsible for assessing area, checking placement, implementing any orders for feedings/medications, provide PRN GT/GJ-T care. Must be comfortable with replacing GT independently if needed.
- Provide first aid and medication administration
- Document care and communicate with school teams
- Report significant status changes to supervising RN and family
