Bilingual Special Education Teacher
Job Description
The Stepping Stones Group, a nationally recognized leader in educational services, is looking for a dedicated Bilingual Special Education Teacher to join our team in Cibolo, TX! With a commitment to fostering educational excellence and social growth, we provide unparalleled support to schools and students across the state. Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Special Education from an accredited institution
- Valid SPED K-12 Certification through TEA and Generalist Certification (MS grades) through TEA
- Reading by Design certification is a plus but not required
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish required
- Demonstrated experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting, with a strong emphasis on supporting those with special needs
Responsibilities:
As a Special Education Teacher with The Stepping Stones Group, you will:
- Utilize specialized teaching strategies and tools to enhance learning and engagement for students with diverse learning needs
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers, therapists, families, and other professionals to promote student success and integration into broader educational settings
- Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instructional methods accordingly
- Foster a nurturing classroom atmosphere that promotes respect, empathy, and self-confidence among students
