Educational Based Diagnostician (EBD) - Sugar Land, TX - Monolingual or Bilingual

Job Description

The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a dedicated Educational Based Diagnostician (monolingual or bilingual) for a school-based role in Sugar Land, TX for the 26/27 school year. This is a full-time position supporting a local school district and is ideal for credentialed School Psychologists who are passionate about helping students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Candidates must be available to work either fully on site OR 4 days on site and one day remote.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Graduate from an EBD program
  • Current license as an Educational Based Diagnostician in TX through TEA
  • 1-2 years of diagnostician experience in a school setting is preferred
  • Must be experienced with testing, writing reports, and attending ARDs
  • Experience with XBASS is highly preferred

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Administer and interpret standardized assessments evaluating cognitive ability, academic achievement, and social-emotional development
  • Write detailed evaluation reports and present findings at ARD/IEP meetings (attend ARDs, not facilitate)
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and support individualized education plans
  • Ensure all evaluations comply with state and federal special education law (IDEA) and TEA guidelines

COMPENSATION: $51-$56/hour * W-2 Contract * Sugar Land, TX
