We support children with autism and other developmental, behavioral, and social-emotional challenges while working closely with caregivers and school teams to promote meaningful, lasting outcomes. Our school-based programs emphasize collaboration, consistency, and strong clinical supervision - so Behavior Technicians feel confident, supported, and successful in dynamic educational environments. ____________________________________________________________________________________ The CAS Experience Schedule & Stability Full-time, school-day schedules (typically aligned to district hours) Services delivered primarily on school campuses, with some community support as needed Weekday-only schedules Consistent routines and structured environments Caseload availability of approximately 20 - 30 hours per week Training, Support & Growth Paid onboarding and hands-on training Ongoing supervision from experienced BCBAs and Behavior Consultants Paid RBT certification support (supervision, and exam support) Free supervision for BACB-required experience hours Clear skill-based pathways for advancement and career growth Recognition & Team Culture Competitive hourly pay Performance-based pay increases Opportunities for advancement, development, and leadership growth Inclusion in team events, trainings, and celebrations A culture built on kindness, professionalism, and collaboration ____________________________________________________________________________________ Role Overview As a School-Based Behavior Technician, you will provide direct 1:1 behavioral support to children under the supervision of a BCBA. You'll help implement treatment plans, teach replacement skills, and support students across their school day while collaborating with teachers, caregivers, and clinical supervisors. This role is ideal for individuals who are patient, dependable, and passionate about helping children learn and grow. What You'll Do Implement ABA treatment plans under the supervision of a BCBA Provide 1:1 behavioral intervention to reduce maladaptive behaviors and teach replacement skills Utilize evidence-based ABA strategies and teaching techniques Collect accurate behavioral data as instructed by the supervising BCBA Support skill development related to communication, behavior regulation, and learning readiness Transfer skills to caregivers and school staff to promote generalization and maintenance Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and clinical supervisors Participate in required trainings, supervision, and team meetings Maintain professionalism and consistency in school and community environments How Success Is Measured Success in this role is defined by: Consistent, compassionate support of students Accurate data collection and follow-through Strong collaboration with school and clinical teams Openness to feedback and skill development Reliability, professionalism, and positive engagement Pay Information Hourly Rate: Competitive and based on experience, education, and credentials Additional compensation may be considered for: Prior ABA experience RBT certification Completion of 40-hour ABA training Relevant school or behavioral health experience ____________________________________________________________________________________ Qualifications & Essential Job Functions Minimum age of 18 High School diploma or GED required RBT certification or willingness to complete required training (preferred) Prior ABA, TSS, or BHT experience preferred but not required Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including: Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs Bending, kneeling, squatting, and transitioning throughout the school day Responding appropriately to challenging behaviors (e.g., aggression, elopement) Reliable transportation to assigned school sites Ability to follow behavior plans and classroom routines with consistency No prior ABA experience is required - we provide training and support. Experience That Transfers Well School or classroom support roles Paraprofessional or instructional aide experience Childcare or youth programs Psychology, education, or human services coursework Camp counselor or after-school program experience ____________________________________________________________________________________ Why CAS Is Different We intentionally design school-based BT roles that: Provide structure without burnout Offer real training and supervision - not just shadowing Create clear paths into advanced clinical and educational roles Recognize and reward consistency, professionalism, and impact ____________________________________________________________________________________ Not Ready to Make the Jump ?
