Behavior Support Manager

The Stepping Stones Group is hiring a REMOTE Behavior Support Manager to join our growing Autism/Behavior Support Team. Candidates must be willing to work Pacific Standard Times, as the position will support our schools based in California.

The ABS Team provides clinical support, mentoring, supervision, and quality oversite of our school-based team


Qualifications: You are either a school psychologist or a BCBA who is looking to take on a leadership role in a fast-growing division. You are able to, and interested in, providing professional development trainings and clinical support to our BCBAs, RBTs, and paraprofessionals working in the school setting. 

Duties/Job Responsibilities:

● Provide on-going clinical support to our school-based employees 
● Provide supervision and support to our District Leads 
● Develop trainings for corporate staff to assist in recruitment and retention efforts 
● Develop clinical content/topic specific trainings for identified areas of need. 
● Update all internal teams with accurate and timely information 
● Be the face of The Stepping Stones Group to our employees and end-users with a professional, positive attitude 
● Develop comprehensive knowledge of The Stepping Stones Group services and processes
● Collaborate with our team, as necessary, to assure that we are providing world class service to our customers 
● Contribute to achieve team goals 

As a Behavior Support Manager, you are:
Either a School Psychologist or Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with at least 5 years of experience. BCBA candidates should have a minimum 3 years' experience working full time in the school setting. 
Able to demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of special education, IEPs, and school communities. 
Able to work with school aged children with a wide variety of needs, including emotional disabilities, ADHD, autism, trauma, anxiety, etc. and how these conditions impact children's learning. 
Familiar with various tools and approaches used to handle behavior issues in the school setting, including but not limited to ABA principals, trauma informed principals, de-escalation strategies, etc. 
Able to collaborate with and/or supervise other team members who are also responsible for supervising our behavior-related support employees. 
Flexible, organized, and have independent work habits that enable you to manage your time and responsibilities for all components of this position.
