The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a contracted, school-based placement in Dover, NJ for the 26/27 school year! This is a full-time position supporting a local K-12 district with private duty/1:1 nursing services.Working with The Stepping Stones Group means consistent pay, clinical backing from experienced nurses, and support from a team that understands school-based nursing - not just staffing.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Active RN license valid in NJGraduate of an accredited ADN or BSN programCurrent BLS CPR/AED certificationDemonstrated competency in the specific skills required for the assigned student including:Pediatric diabetic careMedication administrationStrong assessment and critical thinking skillsAbility to work independently in a non-clinical environmentExperience working with Pediatric populationPreferred: School-based nursing experienceADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTSAbility to respond effectively in emergency situationsAbility to work collaboratively with school staff, families, therapists, and healthcare providersAbility to maintain accurate and timely documentationPrior school-based experience highly preferredWHAT YOU'LL DOMaintain continuous observation of assigned student throughout the school dayImplement and monitor student health plansAccompany student during transportation and community-based activities when assignedCommunicate significant status changes to family, school staff, and clinical leadershipProvide first aid, daily medical care, and emergency supportMaintain student confidentiality in accordance with FERPA and HIPAA requirementsWHY YOU'LL LOVE WORKING WITH USAt The Stepping Stones Group, we know that great outcomes for students start with supported, empowered clinicians.
