As a part-time, school-based SLPA Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) to ensure high-quality, ethical, and legally compliant delivery of speech-language services. The supervisor provides clinical guidance, plans and monitors supervision, ensures adherence to scope of practice, and supports professional development.

What We're Looking For: 

  • A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology 
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) 
  • State license as a Speech-Language Pathologist 
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting 
  • Experience supervising


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized supervision plans for each SLPA, ensuring compliance with state-mandated supervision levels and caseload limits.
  • Provide ongoing clinical oversight, including review of treatment plans, student progress data, and session documentation.
  • Deliver direct and indirect supervision through observations, modeling, feedback, and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure SLPA practices remain within defined scope, intervening if tasks exceed legal or ethical boundaries.
  • Coordinate and provide training on therapy techniques, documentation procedures, and use of communication devices.
  • Maintain accurate supervision records and collaborate with school teams and families to support student outcomes.
