We practice within an assent-based, child-centered ABA model and invest in every team member through training, mentorship, and structured clinical oversight.

Role Overview 

As a Part-Time Home & Community Behavior Technician, you'll deliver 1:1 ABA therapy to children in natural settings, including homes, schools, and community environments. You'll work under BCBA supervision to support skill development and positive behavior change—while gradually building experience and hours toward a full-time schedule if desired. 

This role is ideal for individuals seeking flexibility now with the option to grow. 

 

What You'll Do 

  • Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy sessions under BCBA supervision 
  • Implement treatment plans across home, school, and community settings 
  • Use play-based, individualized strategies to engage children 
  • Collect accurate session data and progress notes 
  • Collaborate with families, school staff, and clinical supervisors 
  • Apply feedback and coaching to strengthen clinical skills 
  • Support skill generalization across environments

Pay Range $18.00/hour - $25.00/hour

  • Hourly Rate: $ (based on education and experience) 

Additional factors that may increase starting pay include: 

  • Prior ABA or behavioral health experience 
  • Higher education or relevant coursework 
  • Fluency in additional languages 
  • Advanced certifications or specialized training

Qualifications & Essential Job Functions 

  • Minimum age of 18 
  • High School diploma or GED required 
  • Ability to actively engage in child-centered play and therapeutic activities 
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including: 
  • Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs 
  • Bending, kneeling, squatting, and transitioning between activities and locations 
  • Responding appropriately to challenging behaviors, including aggression or elopement 
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel consistently within your assigned service region 
  • Valid driver's license and punctual attendance 
  • Comfort working across home, school, and community settings 
  • No prior ABA experience required — we train you 

Experience That Transfers Well 

  • Childcare or education (nanny, tutor, paraprofessional) 
  • College students in psychology, education, social work, or related fields 
  • Mental health or human services roles 
  • Camp counselor, volunteer, or youth program experience
