Job Description

The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for a contracted, school-based placement in Palmdale, CA for the 2026-2027 school year! This is a full-time building support role providing a local K-12 district with nursing services.

Working with The Stepping Stones Group means consistent pay, clinical backing from experienced nurses, and support from a team that understands school-based nursing - not just staffing.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Active LVN license in California
  • Current BLS CPR/AED certification
  • Pediatric and private duty nursing experience preferred

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Assist building nurses with screenings and documentation review
  • Provide first aid care and daily medication management
  • Rotate through classrooms or buildings to administer medications, tube feedings, diabetic care, and other student health needs
  • Serve as a private duty nurse (PDN) for students with medical needs such as diabetes management, seizure management, or G-tube feedings
