Are you passionate about helping students succeed through comprehensive evaluations and informed recommendations? The Stepping Stones Group is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team in San Francisco, CA for an evaluation-only, school-based role!
In this role, you'll use your clinical expertise to assess students, identify areas of need, and provide evaluation results that help guide educational planning and support services. You'll collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure students receive the resources they need to thrive.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current Occupational Therapist license in California
- Experience conducting pediatric evaluations and assessments
- School-based experience and knowledge of IEP processes preferred
- Strong written communication and report-writing skills
What You'll Do:
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations for students referred for services
- Interpret assessment results and prepare detailed evaluation reports
- Develop recommendations to support student participation and educational success
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in eligibility and IEP meetings as needed
- Maintain compliant documentation and adhere to district, state, and federal guidelines
