Are you a passionate Physical Therapist looking to make a meaningful impact through assessment and evaluation services? The Stepping Stones Group is excited to welcome you to our team in San Francisco, CA! In this school-based evaluation-only position, you'll use your clinical expertise to help identify student needs, support educational planning, and guide access to physical therapy services within the school setting.

What We're Looking For:

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
  • Current Physical Therapist license in California
  • Experience conducting pediatric evaluations and assessments
  • School-based experience and familiarity with IEP processes preferred
  • Strong clinical reasoning, documentation, and report-writing skills

What You'll Do:

  • Conduct Evaluations: Perform comprehensive physical therapy assessments to determine students' functional mobility, motor skills, and educational needs
  • Develop Recommendations: Interpret assessment findings and provide recommendations that support student access and participation in the educational environment
  • Collaborate: Partner with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary team members to discuss evaluation results and contribute to student-centered planning
  • Document Findings: Prepare detailed evaluation reports and maintain compliant documentation in accordance with district, state, and federal requirements
  • Participate in Meetings: Attend eligibility, IEP, and multidisciplinary team meetings as needed to support decision-making and service planning
