Job Description

Behavior Technician - Thousand Oaks, CA 

$500 Sign-On Bonus!

Community Autism Services is hiring part-time ABA Behavior Technicians in Thousand Oaks, CA. We provide comprehensive training, ongoing support, and a clear path for career growth! 

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with children and are interested in a long-term career in healthcare or behavioral therapy. 

Base Pay Range: $21.00 to $26.00 per hour 

RBT Track Program: New hires who are not yet RBT-certified are eligible for our RBT Track Program. During your first 90 days of employment, you will receive a $2.00 per hour pay differential while completing the requirements needed to become eligible for the BACB RBT certification exam. Once completed, your pay will remain at the increased rate (Base + $2/hour)

You will receive: 

  • Paid ABA and RBT training 
  • Supervision and support from experienced clinicians 
  • A clear roadmap to certification 
  • Additional pay while on the RBT track 

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Provide 1:1 Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with autism 
  • Deliver therapy in home, school, and community settings 
  • Teach communication, social, daily living, and play skills 
  • Implement behavior intervention strategies 
  • Collect data and follow treatment plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) 
  • Maintain consistent and reliable attendance 
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with supervisors and caregivers 

Requirements: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Childcare or youth experience required (e.g., daycare, babysitting, after-school programs) 
  • Reliable transportation and ability to commute 5-20 miles within the Thousand Oaks area
  • Afternoon availability (starting at 3:00 PM)
  • Must be able to commit to a minimum of six months 
  • Spanish-speaking candidates encouraged to apply (not required)
