Behavior Technician (BT) & Community Outreach Coordinator

Location: Southcoast Region, MA (Fall River, New Bedford, Dartmouth, Raynham, and surrounding areas; occasional support in Milford and Brockton as needed) 
Position Type: Full-Time 
Travel Requirement: Regular local travel required across the Southcoast region (required for candidates willing to drive consistently between Fall River, New Bedford, Dartmouth, Raynham, and nearby markets) 
Reports To: Regional Clinical Leadership (Clinical) & Vice President, Talent and Community Outreach (Outreach)



Position Overview

Community Autism Services (CAS) is seeking a motivated, relationship-driven Behavior Technician (BT) & Community Outreach Coordinator to support clinical services and community engagement across the Southcoast Massachusetts region.

This hybrid role is designed to directly support client outcomes and regional growth. The individual in this position will divide their time between providing high-quality ABA therapy services and building meaningful relationships with referral partners, schools, pediatric offices, and community organizations.

The ideal candidate is energetic, organized, comfortable initiating conversations, and excited to represent CAS in the community while maintaining excellence in direct clinical care.



Essential Job Responsibilities

Clinical Responsibilities

  • Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy in home, school, and/or center-based settings. 
  • Implement individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a BCBA. 
  • Collect accurate session data and complete documentation in a timely manner. 
  • Participate in supervision, team meetings, and ongoing training. 
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory and company standards. 
  • Support positive, professional relationships with families and caregivers. 

Community Outreach Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-person outreach visits to pediatricians, schools, therapy providers, and community agencies across Fall River, New Bedford, Dartmouth, Raynham, and surrounding areas. 
  • Identify and develop new referral partnerships within the Southcoast region. 
  • Schedule and attend meetings with prospective community partners. 
  • Represent CAS at local events, resource fairs, and workshops. 
  • Collaborate with Intake, Recruiting, and Marketing teams to align outreach efforts with regional growth goals. 
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all outreach activities in the designated tracker or CRM. 
  • Provide weekly updates summarizing outreach efforts, wins, and opportunities. 


Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Communications, or related field preferred. 
  • Experience working with children required; ABA experience preferred. 
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills. 
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage time across clinical and outreach responsibilities. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Teams, SharePoint). 
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel regularly throughout the Southcoast region and to nearby markets (including Milford and Brockton, as needed). 


Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay Range: $21.00 – $28.00 per hour (based on experience and certification). 
  • Paid Time Off (PTO) and Paid Holidays. 
  • Paid drive time between client sessions and outreach meetings. 
  • Mileage reimbursement in accordance with company policy.
