SSG SCHOOL-BASED MENTAL HEALTH PROGRAM 

Job Title: School-Based Program Mental Health Quality Assurance Specialist
 Supervisor: Mental Health Executive Director, Clinical Director, and Terms of Employment: Employee understands that he/she is employed by Employer to provide services to assigned client site at the beginning of the school year (specific date to be determined) and continue through the end of the school year, unless terminated earlier. 

Employee will be supervised by Employer and should coordinate work, time off request, changes in schedule and any other issues with the supervisor.

 Essential Duties: 
* File all original documents sent in or collected from providers
 o Maintain all records in accordance with SC DHHS guidelines
 * Conduct internal file audits utilizing DHHS Q&A guidelines o Hard copy student records o Hard copy staff records o PCG electronic records
 * Serve as the point of contact for all external audit requests o Collaborate with SC Clinical Director and Client Services Coordinator to complete requested audits from below external entities
 ▪ SC DHHS ▪ SC MCOs ▪ SC Contracted LEAs
 * Serve as the point of contact for documentation needed to be collected as results of internal audits completed quarterly, at random, or at the request of the SC Clinical Director, or their staff. o Parent consent o Screeners o Assessments o Plans of care * Work closely with SC DHHS, SC MCOs, and MOU Contracted School Districts to verify compliance to resolve questions, as assigned by the SC Clinical Director.
 * Attend compliance regulation meetings with the Mental Health Executive or SC Clinical Director to ensure updates to compliance regulations, billing procedures, and program organization is adhered to * Train other staff, as assigned, on procedures outlined in this job description 

Job Specifications: 
Performance review of this position will be evaluated on an annual time frame in accordance with SSG's employee guidelines. 

Minimum Qualifications Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
 ● Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business Administration, Social Work, Human Resources, or other qualifying fields of study. 
● Minimum of 3 additional years in a coordinator, bookkeeper, or records administrator role within a Behavioral Health setting.
 ● Must be able to maintain records and prepare for audits
