The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a Travel School Psychologist Program Manager for a highly supportive district in De Soto, KS - just 30 minutes from Kansas City! This impactful role blends traditional school psychology services with behavior program leadership and will support 2 school sites known for its strong support systems and collaborative environment.
What You'll Do as a Travel School Psychologist Program Manager
- 20% Program Management:
- Support the special education behavioral needs of specialized classrooms through the delivery of behavioral support services, including conducting FBAs, generating and modifying BIPs, and developing data collection methods with fidelity
- Effectively partner with school district leadership, classroom and student teams, and SSG IBSS Program staff to launch, implement, and assure quality within assigned district
- 80% School Psychology:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to determine students' cognitive, academic, social-emotional, and behavioral functioning
- Participate in Student Support Teams, IEP meetings, and crisis intervention planning
- Provide direct services to students, including counseling (individual and group), behavioral coaching, and skill-building
Support development and implementation of MTSS (Multi-Tiered Systems of Support) and PBIS (Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports) - Assist in the identification and eligibility determination for special education services under IDEA and Section 504

- Gross weekly pay: $2,425 inclusive of $1,505 weekly non-taxable stipend pay - paid as a W2 employee

- Master's degree or higher in School Psychology from a NASP-accredited program
- Kansas State Licensure in good standing from the Kansas State Dept of Education (KSDE)
- 2+ years' experience working within school districts while delivering a variety of direct behavioral support as well as program or professional development services
