Sendero Therapies is currently seeking a Full-Time or Part-Time Occupational Therapist to join our team in Northeast Ohio to provide quality therapy services. This position has endless potential and is flexible with great benefits. Our mission is to create opportunities for children, adolescents, and young adults to master developmental tasks, increase performance capacity, and achieve functional independence in their home, school and community. Our therapists specialize in the evaluation, treatment, and management of children with a variety of developmental, sensory, motor, neuromuscular, educational, and psychosocial disorders, who may experience functional performance limitations.Responsibilities:Perform school-based occupational therapy evaluationsProvide occupational therapy services using evidence based interventions and skilled techniques as indicated by the Individualized Education Plan (IEP) indicated by goals, objectives, frequency and duration of services for each student.Consult with appropriate educational team members for follow up of evaluation results and educational objectivesProvide all necessary and required documentation and charting in student records, such as quarterly reports and evaluations.Collaborate with team members for delivery of services and advocacy for students and families.Provide support to educational staff and students through RTI.Act as a fieldwork instructor in the education of university students.The employee shall provide adequate and appropriate supervision (direct and indirect contact) of occupational therapy assistants at requested districts.Assist school district in developing policies and procedures for occupational therapy services rendered in that school districtProvide in-service training for all school district staff and Company having contact with students.Provide Company with appropriate charge documentation for billing and collection on a timely basis.Maintain treatment and ethical standards consistent with those of the community, abiding by all school district(s) and Company rules.Requirements:Master's Degree or Higher RequiredCurrent Ohio Licensure as Occupational Therapist (OT).Maintain valid CPR certification for youthObtain and keep a Pupil Services Certificate from the Ohio Department of Education to practice occupational therapy in the State of OhioExperience working with children that have developmental delays and/or disabilities.This offer is conditioned upon your ability to perform the essential functions of this position, as determined by your performance and meeting any educational, technical, and/or experience standards as defined by your job description.
