The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our part-time school-based team in Logan, UT. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping students develop the functional, sensory, and motor skills needed to succeed in the classroom and beyond.
As a member of a collaborative educational team, you will work alongside teachers, families, and other specialists to support students with diverse learning and developmental needs while helping them reach their full potential.
Qualifications
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active Utah Occupational Therapist license
- NBCOT certification
- Experience working with children and adolescents preferred
- School-based experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs and educational goals
- Provide direct occupational therapy services in individual and group settings
- Support fine motor development, visual-motor integration, sensory processing, self-care, and functional life skills
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development and progress monitoring
- Maintain accurate documentation, treatment records, and progress reports
- Recommend adaptive equipment, classroom modifications, and therapeutic strategies to support student success
