    The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a Licensed Practice Nurse (LPN) for a contracted, school-based placement in Denver, CO for the 26/27 school year! This is a full-time private duty/1:1 role supporting a local K–12 district with nursing services. The ideal candidate is skilled and confident working with pediatric trach and vent patients and preferably has school-based PDN experience.Working with The Stepping Stones Group means consistent pay, clinical backing from experienced nurses, and support from a team that understands school-based nursing — not just staffing.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSActive LPN License in COCurrent BLS CPR/AED certificationPediatric experience requiredDemonstrated competency in the specific skills required for the assigned student including trach and vent management, seizure management - competent with seizure action plans and rescue medication, tube feedings, pediatric diabetic care, oxygen and airway management, medication administration, catheterizationAbility to safely implement physician orders and care plans within LPN scope of practice School-based experience highly preferredWHAT YOU'LL DOMaintain continuous observation of assigned student throughout the school daySupport chronic condition management and assist with medical procedures as outlined in care plans  PDN's will be responsible for any airway care needed for their client including proper tracheal suctioning and airway management, as needed trach care and trach tie changes, inhaler and nebulizer treatments, emergency care and emergency trach changesProvide first aid and medication administration Document care and communicate with school teams Accompany student during transportation and community-based activities when assignedReport significant status changes to supervising RN and family WHY YOU'LL LOVE WORKING WITH USAt The Stepping Stones Group, we know that great outcomes for students start with supported, empowered clinicians.
