Key Responsibilities: Deliver Individualized Counseling Services: Provide strengths-based, culturally responsive therapeutic interventions to youth and families in school, home, and community settings. Services may include individual therapy, family counseling, and parent support, tailored to each family's needs and treatment goals. Facilitate Family Engagement and Parenting Support: Build rapport and foster trust with caregivers to increase engagement in the therapeutic process. Deliver psychoeducation, coaching, and behavior support strategies to parents and caregivers in a non-judgmental and collaborative manner. Provide Crisis Intervention and Risk Assessments: Respond promptly to urgent client needs, including safety planning and de-escalation. Conduct risk assessments related to suicidality, self-injury, and harm to others, and follow mandated reporting procedures as needed. Participate in IEP/504 Planning and School Collaboration: Attend and contribute to IEP meetings as appropriate. Maintain active communication with school teams, including special education staff, to support students with emotional or behavioral challenges. Maintain Clinical Documentation: Complete all required documentation in a timely, accurate, and professional manner. This includes assessments, treatment plans, session progress notes, and collateral contact notes in accordance with agency standards and regulatory guidelines. Coordinate Care and Foster Community Linkages: Work closely with Wraparound team members, school personnel, and external service providers to ensure a coordinated, comprehensive approach to care. Provide families with referrals to appropriate community resources as needed. Participate in Supervision and Ongoing Training: Attend weekly group and individual supervision to support licensure and clinical growth. Participate in a yearlong training program that includes modules on DSM-5-TR, legal/ethical practices, crisis intervention, and evidence-based strategies. Qualifications: Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field from an accredited institution Registered or in process of registering with the California BBS as an AMFT, ACSW, or APCC Minimum of 20 hours of availability per week; full-time caseloads also available Experience working with children, adolescents, and/or families preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills Valid CA driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to travel between schools, homes, and community locations throughout the day Bilingual applicants are strongly encouraged to apply Schedule & Work Environment: This is a field-based position that requires travel throughout the day to client homes, schools, and community sites (e.g., libraries, parks, recreation centers).
