Client Services Specialist- Instructional Services  

This specific position will be supporting our clients based in California and as such, we are looking for candidates that live in the state and are willing to travel to districts. More specifically, we are looking for candidates either in the Bay Area, Stockton, or Central CA.

As a Client Services Specialist you will be responsible for managing and growing existing and inherited client accounts, creating a positive experience for new clients, and increasing the company's market share.    

In this position you will:   

  • Maintain current client headcount  

  • Reach for 10% annual account growth and work toward established regional goals 

  • Identify growth opportunities in your assigned market among active and inherited client accounts (school districts)  

  • Develop and implement business development strategies  

  • Build and maintain relationships with existing and inherited clients for the purpose of achieving placement targets and acquiring additional business opportunity  

  • Maintain client headcount and grow client headcount when the opportunity arises  

  • Educate clients of The Stepping Stones Group product offerings and invite Autism, Core and Nursing client service managers to client meetings  

  • Outbound calls to clients to generate job orders  

  • Intake of inbound sales calls to identify school districts' needs  

  • Generate interest among school districts through multi-level communication strategies  

  • Present candidates, proposals, negotiate bill rates, and finalize client contract documents  

  • Set clear expectations with clients regarding feedback, quality assurance practices and the Stepping Stones Group policies  

  • Collaborate and support the competitive bid process for assigned client accounts as needed  

  • Deliver an excellent client experience by taking the time to understand each client's needs and preferences. Prioritize Jumbo and Tier 1 school district clients.  

  • Provide clear and consistent client communication; establish expectations throughout the process; respond quickly and thoroughly to client questions  

  • Collaborate with Regional Manager of Client Services to establish focus jobs and communicate client needs    

  • Embrace personal responsibility and accountability among a strongly collaborative environment  

  • Meet and exceed your assigned activity, placement, and margin goals  

Qualifications:   

  • Fearless and enthusiastic attitude and a supportive collaborator  

  • Confidence in making outbound calls  

  • Confidence in communicating and upholding The Stepping Stones Group's policies and expectations  

  • Identify internal areas of improvement and communicate these to your team  

  • Ability to overcome objectives; strong negotiation and closing skills  

  • Excellent time management skills  

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Exceptional presentation skills  

  • Strategic thinking & problem solving; ability to achieve results  

  • Exceptional time management and prioritization skills with demonstrated ability to meet project timelines  

  • Strong relationship management and work ethic, including leading by example  

  • Adaptability and flexibility to support the organization's rapid growth  

  • Excellent work ethic and cheerful outlook with the desire to make a difference daily    

  • Sales or recruiting experience is not required, but preferred    

  • Bachelor's degree (preferred)
