AAC Specialist

Ready to Help Students Find Their Voice? Join Our Team as an OTR AAC Specialist!

Do you have a passion for empowering students through communication? Want to make a meaningful impact in a supportive school environment? The Stepping Stones Group is seeking an OTR AAC Specialist to join our team in Elk Grove, CA!

In this full-time, school-based role, you'll support students who use Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems, helping them access communication tools that promote participation, independence, and success both in and out of the classroom. 

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current Occupational Therapist license in California
  • AAC certification is required 
  • Experience with AAC devices, access methods, positioning, and assistive technology preferred
  • Experience working with children and adolescents (school-based experience preferred)
