Substitute Behavior Technician

Community Autism Services, a division of The Stepping Stones Group, is hiring immediately for Substitute Behavior Technicians in Fremont, CA who possess expertise in delivering Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment services to children with autism in their home, school, or community settings. Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour

Job Duties
  • Substituting cases or assignments daily as instructed by Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)/clinical supervisor
  • Deliver direct Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment services to children diagnosed with autism, conducting sessions in various settings such as their homes, schools, or within the community.
  • Work under the guidance of a program supervisor, instructing clients on essential skills such as communication, play, socialization, and fostering greater independence. In addition, ABA Behavior Technicians assist in addressing challenging behaviors.
  • Duties also include collecting, organizing, and summarizing behavioral data related to the child's treatment goals.
  • 6-month commitment to consistent and dependable attendance, as well as responsive and timely communication, is essential to the role.

Requirements
  • Proof of high school diploma or BA/BS degree in Psychology, Education, or Special Education or related field. Candidates with incomplete degrees will be considered based on experience.
  • Professional experience with children or special needs is required
  • Able to commute up to 5-10 miles or 30-45 minutes 
  • Valid CA Driver's License and proof of auto liability insurance
  • Must have reliable transportation 
  • Bilingual Spanish  is a plus

Substitute Behavior Technician, School-based ABA Services

Join Our Mission to Transform Lives!  The Stepping Stones Group is seeking an experienced Behavior Technician to serve as a substitute for a school-based position in Glendale, AZ! The Behavior Technician will be part of our on-site Intensive Behavioral Student Services team and will serve to lead, inspire, and support students through individualized behavioral programs.
