At Community Autism Services (CAS), we know that not every great clinician is looking for a full-time role. Our part-time home and community Behavior Technician positions are designed for individuals who want to contribute meaningful work while maintaining balance with other priorities.
We practice within an assent-based, child-centered ABA model and provide the training, mentorship, and clinical oversight needed to succeed-without requiring a fixed or full-time schedule.

Role Overview
As a Part-Time Home & Community Behavior Technician, you'll deliver 1:1 ABA therapy to children in natural environments under BCBA supervision. You'll support skill development and behavior goals while working a schedule that fits your lifestyle.
This role is ideal for individuals balancing school, caregiving responsibilities, or other professional commitments.
What You'll Do
Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy sessions under BCBA supervision
Implement treatment plans in home and community settings
Use play-based and individualized strategies to engage children
Collect accurate session data and progress notes
Communicate with families and clinical supervisors
Apply feedback and coaching to strengthen clinical skills

Pay Range
Hourly Rate: $21.00 - $26.00/hour (based on education and experience)
Additional factors that may increase starting pay include:
Prior experience in ABA or behavioral health
Higher education or relevant coursework
Fluency in additional languages
Advanced certifications or specialized training

Qualifications & Essential Job Functions
Minimum age of 18
High School diploma or GED required
Ability to actively engage in child-centered play and therapeutic activities
Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including:
Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
Bending, kneeling, squatting, and transitioning between activities and locations
Responding appropriately to challenging behaviors, including aggression or elopement
Reliable transportation and ability to travel consistently within your assigned service region
Valid driver's license and punctual attendance
No prior ABA experience required - we train you
Experience That Transfers Well
College students in psychology, education, social work, or related fields
Childcare or education roles (nanny, tutor, paraprofessional)
Mental health or human services experience
Camp counselor, volunteer, or youth program experience
