At Community Autism Services (CAS), we know that not every great clinician is looking for a full-time role. Our part-time home and community Behavior Technician positions are designed for individuals who want to contribute meaningful work while maintaining balance with other priorities.
We practice within an assent-based, child-centered ABA model and provide the training, mentorship, and clinical oversight needed to succeed—without requiring a fixed or full-time schedule.

Role Overview
As a Part-Time Home & Community Behavior Technician, you'll deliver 1:1 ABA therapy to children in natural environments under BCBA supervision. You'll support skill development and behavior goals while working a schedule that fits your lifestyle.
This role is ideal for individuals balancing school, caregiving responsibilities, or other professional commitments.
What You'll Do
- Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy sessions under BCBA supervision
- Implement treatment plans in home and community settings
- Use play-based and individualized strategies to engage children
- Collect accurate session data and progress notes
- Communicate with families and clinical supervisors
- Apply feedback and coaching to strengthen clinical skills

Pay Range
- Hourly Rate: $22.00 – $27.00/hour (based on education and experience)
Additional factors that may increase starting pay include:
- Prior experience in ABA or behavioral health
- Higher education or relevant coursework
- Fluency in additional languages
- Advanced certifications or specialized training

Qualifications & Essential Job Functions
- Minimum age of 18
- High School diploma or GED required
- Ability to actively engage in child-centered play and therapeutic activities
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including:
- Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
- Bending, kneeling, squatting, and transitioning between activities and locations
- Responding appropriately to challenging behaviors, including aggression or elopement
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel consistently within your assigned service region
- Valid driver's license and punctual attendance
- No prior ABA experience required — we train you
Experience That Transfers Well
- College students in psychology, education, social work, or related fields
- Childcare or education roles (nanny, tutor, paraprofessional)
- Mental health or human services experience
- Camp counselor, volunteer, or youth program experience
