Speech Language Pathologist CF Mentor

Job Description

The Stepping Stones Group is seeking CF Mentors with our school district partners in Clovis, NM!   Supervision expected to begin August 2024 with a Stipend rate of $300 per CF per month!  Additional travel stipend can be added for 80+ miles round trip!

 Requirements: 

 

  • Has a minimum of 2 years of experience in the school setting
  • Holds appropriate NM state license and ASHA CCCs
  • Must be able to provide in-person supervision in real-time during regular school hours
  • Must have school-based professional work experience
  • Supervision experience preferred

 

Duties included: 
 
 

  • Provide CF Supervision for CF-SLPs per ASHA guidelines 
  • Including direct and indirect supervision 
  • Provide CF the mentorship needed to become an independent practitioner of SLP services 
  • Improve the clinical effectiveness of the Clinical Fellow through meaningful mentoring and feedback, and assist the Clinical Fellow in developing independent clinical skills.   
  • Provide opportunities to view and accurately rate all skills listed in the 2020 CFSI  
  • Provide the minimum required on-site and in-person supervisory activities per segment in order for the hours and weeks earned during that segment to count.  
  • Adhere to professional & ethical best practices

Are you interested in being a Clinical Fellowship SLP Mentor?  The Stepping Stones Group is hiring CCC-SLPs for In-Person Clinical Fellow mentorship and supervision in Kansas City, KS.   The Stepping Stones Group provides you with unparalleled support and surrounds you with responsive and supportive clinical leaders. The Stepping Stones Group is hiring a HYBRID Board Certified Behavior Analysts for RBT supervision in Colton, CA!Stipend rate of $250 per RBT per month!  The Stepping Stones Group provides you with unparalleled support and surrounds you with responsive and supportive clinical leaders. We will provide you with meaningful interactive opportunities and give you access to our exclusive content.  Qualifications: Must have active BCBA licensure.One year of experience as a BCBA, preferred.Must have taken BACB supervision course.Candidates with experience providing group and virtual supervision preferred, but experience with both is not required.School experience preferred Duties/Job Responsibilities:  In accordance with BACB guidelines, BCBAs will be providing virtual and hybrid supervision to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) that are on assignment in Colton, CA.Hours: Hours will vary depending on the number of RBTs the BCBA is willing to supervise. Supervision layout could be as follows, but will be up to BCBA to work out:Week 1: 1:1 virtual supervision with student during school hours (providing feedback, supporting RBT with implementation of the behavior support plan, etc.) Week 2: 1:1 virtual supervision during school and group supervision after school (without the student present)Week 3: virtual or in-person supervision during schoolWeek 4: virtual supervision during school and group supervision after school (without the student present)Each month, the BCBA will meet with the RBTs at least once in a small group format to review Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies and interventions, task list items, professional and ethical compliance guidelines, and the RBT handbook. This meeting will be held outside of classroom time and without the student.Once a week, the BCBA will meet with each RBT individually while they apply ABA strategies with their student to ensure effective practices and compliance with the BACB standards.BCBA and RBTs will meet regularly to ensure that they are meeting the required minimum 5% supervision required by the BACB.Compensation: BCBA will receive a stipend - $250.00 per RBT per month. BCBA - RBT Supervisors will not be eligible for benefits.
