Mental Health Associate - On-Site Counselor School-Based Role | Calabasas/Agoura Job Type: Full-Time Pay Range: $27.50-$32.50/hour Position Overview: ERA Ed, a Division of The Stepping Stones Group, is seeking a mission-driven and compassionate Mental Health Associate (MHA) to provide individualized, school-based, on-site mental health services to children and adolescents in Calabasas/Agoura, CA.This is an excellent opportunity for pre-licensed clinicians seeking hands-on experience, meaningful client relationships, and structured support toward BBS licensure through paid supervision and yearlong training.The ideal candidate is an Associate-level clinician (AMFT, ACSW, or APCC) who is passionate about supporting students on school campuses and collaborating with educators and special education teams. This position plays a vital role in a multidisciplinary team dedicated to promoting emotional well-being and academic success through school-linked Wraparound services.Mental Health Associates will participate in a yearlong clinical training program while working with a caseload of students in alignment with their IEPs or 504 plans. Services are delivered in person, on campus, during the regular school day.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide Individual Counseling Services on Campus: Deliver strengths-based, culturally responsive therapy to students in alignment with IEP or 504 plan goals. Use evidence-based interventions to support social-emotional development, behavior regulation, and academic engagement.Collaborate with School Teams: Build strong working relationships with school staff and special education teams. Attend IEP meetings, contribute to student support planning, and ensure alignment between therapeutic services and educational needs.Support Goal Tracking and Progress Monitoring: Provide services at the frequency and duration outlined in each student's IEP or commensurate plan. Monitor and document progress toward counseling goals and adjust treatment strategies accordingly.Maintain Clinical Documentation: Complete all clinical documentation in a timely and accurate manner, including session notes, service logs, and quarterly progress reports. Submit documentation within 24 hours of service using designated electronic platforms.Provide Multi-Site Support: Travel between up to three school campuses within the same district as part of your daily schedule.Participate in Supervision and Training: Attend weekly individual and group supervision to support licensure and clinical development.
