Working under BCBA supervision, you'll implement individualized behavior strategies, respond calmly to escalated moments, and help create the structure and consistency many of these young people haven't had. Your role matters not just for behavioral progress, but for showing up as a steady, caring adult in a young person's day.What You'll DoBuild trusting, consistent relationships with youth in a structured program settingProvide 1:1 and small-group behavioral supportImplement behavior intervention strategies and treatment plans for intensive and complex behaviorsRespond safely and appropriately to challenging moments using CPI techniquesSupport skill development related to communication, behavior regulation, and daily routinesCollect accurate behavioral data and session documentationCollaborate with program staff, educators, and clinical supervisorsSupport youth through transitions, routines, and escalated moments with patience and consistencyMaintain professionalism and safety awareness in a secure program environmentHow Success Is MeasuredBuilding genuine trust and rapport with youth, even in high-stress momentsSafe, appropriate responses to challenging behaviorAccurate data collection and follow-throughStrong collaboration with program and clinical teamsOpenness to feedback and continued skill developmentReliability, professionalism, and steady, positive engagementPay InformationHourly Rate: $21.00-$26.00Starting pay is based on education, experience, and bilingual skills.
