Job Description

The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a dedicated Psychometrist to join our team in Birmingham, AL, in providing comprehensive psychological services to students in schools.  This is full time.  The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting psychoeducational assessments, providing individual and group counseling, collaborating with teachers and parents to support students' academic and social-emotional development, and contributing to the development of individualized education plans (IEPs).-$2,000 bonus available!  *Conditions apply; ask recruiter for details!


Requirements:
  • Graduate from a School Psychology program
  • AL Psych Certification
  • Minimum of 5 Years of Experience 

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments to evaluate students' academic, social, and emotional functioning
  • Provide individual and group counseling to students with social-emotional or behavioral concerns
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' academic and social-emotional development
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to develop and review individualized education plans (IEPs) 
  • Provide crisis intervention and support as needed
