The Stepping Stones Group is searching for Mental Health Professionals to join our amazing team in Oakland County, MI!If you're ready to help students navigate emotions, overcome challenges, and thrive in school, this is your moment to shine!Qualifications:Valid Michigan LARA mental health professional license in the following areas:Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW) with capacity to provide Licensure & Medicaid Billing Supervision  Experience implementing research-based strategies to address the social, emotional, and mental health needs of studentsExperience providing direct therapy/counseling services to studentsKey Responsibilities:Student Support Social Navigators support students' attendance, behavior, and social-emotional development through targeted behavioral health interventions. They collaborate with school staff to identify and assist at-risk students through individualized care. Comprehensive behavioral health assessments using screening toolsDevelopment of individualized treatment plans with student and caregiver inputProvision of individual, group, and family therapyBehavioral health interventions to support emotional, cognitive, and social functioningCrisis intervention and managementTreatment plan reviews to monitor progress toward student goalsFamily & Community Engagement Social Navigators strengthen connections between families, schools, and community resources. They help caregivers navigate school systems and build positive relationships to support student success. Family therapy (with student present) Psychoeducation for parents/caregivers on diagnoses, behavioral health needs, and available supports Case management and care coordination Referrals to Community Mental Health and other external servicesSchool Climate and Culture Social Navigators promote restorative practices, SEL skill-building, and mindfulness strategies to foster a safe and supportive school climate.
