Qualifications:

  • A Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field
  • Michigan LARA licensure in:
    • Michigan LARA licensure in:   
    • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)  
    • Licensed Master's Level Professional Counselor (LPC)  
    • Licensed Master Social Work (LMSW)  
    • Limited License Master of Social Work (LLMSW)
  • School experience preferred

What You'll Do:

  • Provide individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and behavior support for general education students  
  • Collaborate with school staff to deliver tiered mental health interventions within the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) framework  
  • Facilitate mental health screenings, referral coordination, and case consultation  
  • Document services and track student progress in alignment with grant and compliance requirements  
  • Submit medicaid billing through district's EHR platform for student services  
  • Participate in school-based team meetings, family engagement, and professional development  
  • Coordinate care and referrals with internal and community-based partner
