Career Services Manager (Recruiter)
TRANSFORM LIVES * BUILD RELATIONSHIPS * CREATE OPPORTUNITIES
As a Career Services Manager (Recruiter), you will play a critical role in connecting talented professionals with meaningful career opportunities that support children and school districts across the country.
What You'll Do
* Build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline through active applicant engagement and proactive sourcing.
* Spend a significant portion of your day communicating directly with candidates by phone, text, email, and other outreach channels.
* Identify and engage passive candidates rather than relying solely on incoming applications.
* Conduct candidate screens to understand experience, qualifications, career goals, location preferences, compensation expectations, and other factors influencing a successful placement.
* Match qualified candidates with opportunities that align with their skills and professional goals.
* Create an exceptional candidate experience through timely, transparent, and consistent communication.
* Establish clear expectations and guide candidates through each stage of the recruiting and hiring process.
* Present compensation packages, navigate objections, negotiate offers, and help candidates confidently move toward a decision.
* Manage candidate pipelines, follow-up activities, documentation, and recruiting workflows with organization and urgency.
* Consistently work toward and exceed activity, placement, revenue/margin, and other performance goals.
What Success Looks Like Here
We believe in being transparent about the environment our recruiters work in. This is a fast-paced, performance-driven role, and it won't be the perfect fit for everyone and that's okay.
Before you apply, here's an honest look at who may not thrive in this seat:
* You need things to stay the same. Our market, priorities, and approach shift constantly. If you prefer a steady, predictable routine, this may be frustrating.
* You would rather text or email than pick up the phone. This job lives on the phone-with candidates, clients, and your team. Comfort with phone conversations is essential.
* You wait for candidates to come to you. Applications come in, but successful recruiters proactively source rather than only work the inbox.
* Negotiating and competition do not motivate you. You will regularly navigate offers, timelines, expectations, and challenging conversations.
* You avoid objections instead of addressing them. Candidates and clients may push back. We value honest problem-solving, not dodging concerns or overselling.
* You need close supervision to stay on task. This is a remote role that requires independent time management, focus, and accountability.
* You do not want to be measured. Metrics and performance goals are central to how we operate and recognize success.
If you read this and thought, 'That's exactly how I already work,' please apply-this might be the best move of your career.
