This position allows you to work one on one with a child with behavioral needs in a school setting in South Bay Los Angeles area utilizing the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to meet specific goals for that child. This is a full time, benefits-eligible position with a schedule of Monday - Friday between the hours of 7:50am - 3:30pm, 30 hours per week. Job DutiesWork one on one with a child with moderate to severe behaviors (i.e. aggression, elopement, etc.) at an assigned school site. Work collaboratively with a Case Supervisor to implement positive behavior intervention strategies to improve a child's functional behavior, emotional language and communication, socialization, academic performance, and independent daily living skills Duties also include collecting, organizing, and summarizing behavioral data related to the child's behavior goals. 1-year commitment to consistent and dependable attendance, as well as responsive and timely communication, is essential to the role. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates or Bachelors Degree in related field preferred. As a Program Supervisor, you will develop behavior plans for a caseload of students who attend schools in the West LA area, conduct weekly on-site visits to school/home settings, and provide on-going training and supervision to behavior technicians.
